Just about every field of knowledge has special jargon. Water is no different especially considering all the disciplines involved; biology, hydrology, geology, agronomy, engineering, law and economics – probably others we’ve failed to mention. The following is a list of acronyms that will often appear in these reports. Most of these are common, some have been made up on the spot for a needed shorthand.
