Dear Brothers and Sisters:
We have prayer requests going out for healing. The first is a precious seven-year-old girl who has had a growth removed from her scalp. The family is awaiting the results of a biopsy to determine if it is melanoma. The second prayer request is for a precious 63-year-old lady who has been diagnosed with liver cancer. She is awaiting the results of tests to determine how advanced her cancer is so to determine the course of treatment.
Let us remember to pray for the families also because a life-threatening diagnosis like cancer impacts all of us. Shock, fear, rage, numbness – there are many emotions to process. For the time being we’ve chosen to keep the names of the two gals private but know they are relatives of us Christians in California’s water world here in the San Joaquin Valley.
