The Kaweah Groundwater Subbasin Water Marketing Strategy is a locally led effort to provide Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSA) in the Kaweah Subbasin with a framework to support the transfer of groundwater allocations between eligible buyers and sellers. Managed by a Strategy Committee (Committee) representing the full range of groundwater users and uses in the region, the effort is slated to result in a preliminary groundwater marketing approach for implementation by GSAs in 2023.
